Wonderful scenthound developed from English Foxhound and Harrier with the addition of other German Scenthounds.  Typically hunted alone like brackes, the Hamiltonstovare is named for the man that developed them.  They are happy and energetic though tend to be chow hounds and will be overweight if inadequately exercised.  Notably bouncy and extroverted especially when contrasted with other hounds, these tri-color dogs are great companions and sturdy hounds.
